To call Past Glories of Toad Hollow & Company an antique store does not do it justice; this place is Narnia when it comes to memorabilia that will simply take you away in time and space. It's rare to find a place that transports you back to Medieval England, World War Two and Mesopotamia all in the same visit. It's an absolute delight for the eyes and you're in great hands with the owner - Barb - whose love of antiques and artifacts comes through in her store and with the philanthropic support she brings to the local community. Highly recommended and worthwhile for anyone visiting Orangeville for the very first time!
I think it is a very beautiful and well maintained store and more people should know about it. It’s amazing to look at and even if you are not buying something, you can definitely look through, there are a lot of things to see and explore. Loved visiting the place.
My family and I got racially profiled, being followed out and watched as we leave. They took a photo of our car, and when being asked about it, completely dismisses us and walked away mid conversation. The old owners, Chris and Brigette were wonderful but due to the management change I will not be coming back to this shop again. A white older lady with glasses was “assisting” us.
Very affordable compared to antique shops farther south. I swing by once in awhile and they always have new interesting things to look at, browsing has always been fun. We have never had any issues with the items we have purchased. I highly recommend this shop even if you are just visiting or looking for a gift.
Such an interesting place! Great place to spend a rainy summer day, there is so much to look at and it’s great fun to purchase that special thing that is discovered!
At Past Glories of Toad Hollow, My husband and I, have found some unique and antique items. So much to choose from. We've shopped there quite a few times. Prices are great!
I love the store, so sad to see it coming to an end. I always found an assortment of unusual items allowing me to give my home that unique appearance. Pricing is excellent- a lot more affordable than those other antique stores. Staff is excellent, they go beyond in customer service. I believe that they give you the best price along with personal attention.
