I purchased a few sizes of the Aquamaster 3310 Taklon brushes from Maggiolly. They are my favorite brushes for blocking in a panel and large swaths of color. I had an excellent experience with Maggiolly Art and Emilia was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend these brushes and Maggiolly Art for your painting supplies.

Ricky's art classes for children are terrific and my grandson has been taking them for years. It wouldn't surprise me if my grandson continues until he's an adult! He loves the classes and creates beautiful art pieces in clay and also painting, enjoying himself in the company of the other children during the classes. Ricky is an excellent, motivating and skilled art teacher and impressive artist himself. During one drop-in art class that Ricky had held in the library on Broadway, I watched him paint an owl and it was beautiful. He gave me advice, too, on the pencil sketch that I worked on while my grandson painted. Much appreciated! The store itself is stocked with everything that one could possibly want to buy to work on one's own art. I've been to Curry's Art Store in downtown Toronto and feel that Maggiolly's is better stocked with a wider variety of products. Far more convenient to drive to Maggiolly's than to downtown Toronto! I live in Toronto but prefer to go to Maggiolly's. The store owner is a wonderful contemporary artist, too. This is a great place to buy gifts, hand-painted cards, and supplies for one's own art creations. I love this store. The window displays are always interesting and beautiful, too. Five star recommendation from me.
The friendliest staff, always there to help you out and reccomend the proper supplies for your very specific needs! Great prices comparable to other local art supply stores and always has cool unique new stuff everytime I go in. I have taken one painting class there so far and it was an amazing experience that I learned lots from and aquired some great new skills! Highly reccomend
Went for the Valentine paint, wine and cheese night..had a fantastic time..great cheese and wine and we left with 2 fantastic paintings. Instructor was clear and concise..so much fun
