There is more often than not a line and some confusion regarding prescriptions, it’s happened to me a few times where I have been shorted on my prescription told to come back another day when they have it available and then asked to pay again when I do return for it. We typically have to go back-and-forth and the pharmacist will come out and somehow get to the bottom of it and confirm that I did in fact pay, this wouldn’t be an issue issue other than the fact that it’s happened more than once.
Unfortunately on May 14th, 2024, I am disappointed to say that I was followed around the store with a lady with curly hair and glasses, a staff member, who made me feel as though I didn’t belong nor was able to purchase stuff. The rude looks and mumbling under her breath did not go unnoticed. As a person of colour these things need to stuff and when I told her that I would take my business elsewhere she was quick to say “are you kidding me” while I told her I didn’t fell comfortably with her following me around as though I was a theft. You guys need to do better especially in today’s society where change is needed. Working at a shoppers drug mart isn’t a high and mighty jobs that your staff needs to feel the need to follow customers around and make them feel denigrated. Absolutely ridiculous, do better not only for ourselves but for the next generation.
I have been going to this pharmacy since the mall. This is the worst it has ever been, this new owner, she has no respect for customers. Jenn, Lori, Lisa and Sharon are great! I have gotten compassion from the male pharmacists, but any of the female pharmacists have been rude, they will argue with you and hang up the phone mid sentence. The previous owner, Mann, was the best, he cared about you.
I would like to appreciate for the amazing customer service provided by Kriti. She guided me all the products that I needed that too with amazing deals going on. Thankyou so much for the assistance yesterday and it wouldn’t have been possible without her. Highly appreciate Kriti!! Will be happy to visit store again
My experience on Sept 20, 2023 at 7:19 pm was AWFUL because of Kriti (a brown indian girl) who is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and Confrontational, who had no problem following me to the pharmacy area even after I told her to get out of my sight as a result of her being so IMPOLITE AND IMPROPER in many different ways towards me. KRITI (cashier) HARASSED ME ALL THE WAY TO THE PHARMACY AREA and her choices of words towards me — I felt undignified. I used to LOVE this very specific SHOPPERS DRUG MART because of its traditional value and staffing were always make me feel I am part of the community but the BAD SERVICE AND INTERACTION WITH KRITI (brown Indian girl) today was definitely a marker for me to AVOID SHOPPING HERE again and bring my businesses including my family’s pharmaceutical need’s ELSEWHERE!!!! To the owner, if you appreciate INTEGRITY and the business we bring to your store, Kriti is definitely DOING THE OPPOSITE. In addition, Kriti (a brown Indian girl) CONTRADICTED what SHOPPERS DRUG MART corp. promises to ITS customers!!!!
A big shout out to Pharmacist Andro E. at Shoppers. I live in Bolton and all local pharmacies were back ordered on children amoxicilin, I was in dire need. Most locations around Brampton/Vaughan didn't even pick up the phone as it was near close time. Andro answered the call, and after listening to my ordeal, he took it upon himself to transfer the prescription from another location but also called to give me an update all within an hour of closing. Thank you for your kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for your customers. Such a great experience.
