Very bad customer service and over priced products. Everything is poorly made and the people running booth at the Toronto convention center for the oddities expo was very rude and unprofessional. Will not be supporting a company like this
Do not buy from this company! Very unprofessional an extremely rude to customers. Even or a simple accident they demanded payment over a very minor and simple fix from a product that they don't even make themselves. Not to mention that the products they use to create their "art" is all from the dollar store and cheap garden centers as I recognize what they are actually use and they still leave the stickers of what they buy from third party stores. It's completely unreasonable to charge $80 for moss from the dollar store and a cheap lantern and then stick a broken scorpion inside of it is a complete scam. The people who ran the booth at the oddities expo in the Toronto convention center definitely need need to be trained on customer service and proper manners towards their customers. Nothing in that booth was worth the price at all, the quality was the equivalent to a children's arts and crafts lesson. For the price and the quality along with the absolutely terrible customer service this is not a place people should be supporting.
Well, there is a first for everything. My sons gf was in their over crowded booth @ the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in June 2025 in Toronto and she accidentally broke an item valued at $80. Let's talk about this said item .... garden center lantern glass poorly manufactured. With moss that can be purchased from a dollar store and a dried Scorpion ? on the moss.i explained to the lady she didn't have money and offered to repair the item and return tomorrow. Only one corner of the lantern had come off from poor quality of the lantern. This is a gorilla clue fix. In todays economy the lack of empathy is sad. Especially when she can tell she was a young student. I asked the lady where her sign was saying you break it you buy it, there was no sign, she said it was just a given.
Went to their booth at the oddities and curiosities convention with some family. I wasn't directly involved but this is what happened with my family. Someone in my family damaged something by accidentally knocking it over from I understand. It was a container with moss and a scorpion inside, the frame of the container broke. They had to pay $80 for breaking it. The container was of low quality to begin with, I am not sure of the quality of the moss or scorpion. The container frame seemed to be held together by a sort of glue from what I understand, a glue that was barely put on nor was it of any quality. The container wasn't made by the booth given the sticker on the bottom, most likely bought. If you are going to sell something for $80 then put it in a welded container or a container with screws, not glue, and not a weak glue at that. When we offered to pay for it for the day and bring it back tomorrow with it fixed, they said they couldn't do that because it would no longer be in the condition it was in when it was initially on display, yeah it would be in better condition because we'd use proper quality material for repair. Furthmore, as someone who has had to work on building things in school for the love of God, not even as a hobby, it should be common sense to have simple things like glue for example on standby, which they didn't at their booth I assume.
I have ordered through this business multiple times and I have never been unsatisfied. They always have new stock, the owner is very passionate and puts her heart and soul into her business. From her customized handmade jewelry to her hundreds of different crystals I can always find something here. Love this store! And recommend it to everyone.
My experiences here have been nothing but amazing. It is a must-visit! The shop is filled with all your spiritual needs! The crystal quality on display is absolutely gorgeous. Tons of variety on products and services with great pricing. The atmosphere is both inviting and inspiring. The owner is just wonderful- the service has always been excellent- Super friendly, incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable. She is so kind- On many occasions has gone out of her way to help and support others within the community. I’ve recommended this store to multiple family and friends and they too love coming here. CCJ is a treasure trove for all things spiritual- one of a kind! I can’t recommend it enough!
Ordered a bracelet for Xmas pick up. Was informed it was a 24 hr turnaround. Was emailed it would be ready for the Monday before Xmas. By Tuesday I had heard nothing so I emailed an inquiry as to when I could pick up. I received an automated reply stating all orders where on hold until the 29 as the owner was away!!!! Brutal communication. Very dissatisfied. Canceled my order.
