Tucked away in a quiet little plaza, at First St & 5th Ave, you will find one of Orangeville's best kept secret. Aunty Joy's place is wonderfully busy and rightly so. They have a great menu, with an assortment of dishes to choose from. We went for a classic tofu pad thai, shrimp roll in rice wrap, and classic spring rolls. What can I say that those few in Orangeville haven't already said. Well, for those of you who dont already know the pad thai was out of this world, fresh, spicy, and delicious. The quantity more than generous one order can feed 3 ppl. The shrimp rolls were also fresh and tasty, with a sweet & salty component coming from the fresh mango once dipped in the peanut sauce.I did not hesitate to return the following day to bring some home and get my family's reaction. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you again, Aunty Joy!!!
Bought pho for takeout. Normally, the broth and rice noodles would be packed separately in all the other pho restaurants I been to. But, here it is packed together, by the time i got home, noodles had soaked up all the broth and it was tasteless even after adding the condiments provided. Bought 3 dishes and they were all tasteless pho. I can't belief they actually got good reviews.
My family and I decided to try out a new restaurant and came to Aunty Joy’s Springrolls. Upon entry we asked if we can add another seat to our table since we are a family of 5 and there were only 4 seats, the person working there told us that we should have called before coming in because she’s the only one there. It does not say anywhere online to call prior to dining in and I have never heard of that unless the place is busy. There was no one in the restaurant except for my family. Then she said she doesn’t know how long the food will take and told us to bear with her as it could take really long and said if we are in a rush we should leave. We didn’t mind to wait but definitely did not want to wait for hours. Unfortunately we did not get to try the food but the entire experience was not worth staying there. Make sure you call before dining in to inform the owners that you are coming.
Ordered 2 chicken mango spring rolls. I should have checked before I left because what I got was a lot of lettuce, a tiiiiiny bit of chicken and no mango at all.
Auntie Joy's is our favorite restaurant in Orangeville. The proprietor is super pleasant and makes all her customers feel special. The food is fabulous - you wont be dissapointed! We highly recommend Auntie Joy's Spring Rolls restaurant.
Good we l food was pretty good, auntie joy is a delight, thought it was weird she wouldn't give me a sister styrofoam bowl, what's out cost like 2 cents? I'd go back though
Pad thai was very avg. Real pad thai is made with eggs. Theirs only has meat in a spicy sauce. Chicken quality wasn’t the greatest either. Can find much better thai food in brampton and mississauga.
