Absolutely had the best experience at Westend last weekend when I had an emergency with my dog while driving up north. They took her in right away even though she was not a regular patient. They fixed up her dewclaw nail that had broken and was bleeding. Lyndsay at the front was so pleasant to deal with.
Dr. Leah Larson and staff at the Westend Veterinary Hospital are wonderful. Our dog was taken there on a first visit as we had decided to change vets. He suffered from urinary problems and Dr. Leah diagnosed the problem right away and a subsequent test confirmed this. Surgery was done and unfortunately the post surgery medication caused my dog to suffer seizures. Follow up was outstanding with complimentary neurological checks and Dr. Leah and all of the technician staff calling multiple times a day to see if there has been any changes, offer assistance and discuss options. They even credited me for the unused pain medications that were the cause of the seizures. I cannot recommend Westend Veterinary Hospital highly enough.

They are the absolute best team around. Even though I live 45 minutes away and have vets much closer, I am still loyal as the team treat my fur children like their own fur children. We are always one of the family.
Amazing staff and great attention to my chocolate lab. She started limping badly during May 24 long weekend. My vet was closed, so we went to Westend and Dr. Barb looked at her. Follow-up x-rays confirmed the problem. Surgery was booked a month later. My lab is recovering nicely with follow-up visits and physio with Sam. Everyone is very friendly and excellent at their job!! Glad I switched vets.
