If you heading back home from a trip to Tobermory, you must drop by for meal. The green salad was very tasty and the lasagne exceeded expectations! The portions were excellent and the prices were very fair!
Waited an hour for our food, ordered risotto and veal parmesean sandwiches which didnt taste like Italian authentic tomato sauce...tasted like it was ragu sauce. Sadly, I probably won't visit again any time soon.?
Delicious meal again tonight. Six of us for dinner and everyone ordered something different and we all had high praise for the new chef. I thoroughly enjoyed my Rigatoni Bolognese and house salad, both were excellent. Service was great, attentive and friendly, not rushed, we enjoyed a great evening of conversation. The menu offers a good variety of apps, entrees, and desserts. End your meal with a pretty cappuccino
The food was hot and delicious. There was only 1 server for the entire restaurant. Part of our group was finished eating while the other half had not even received their meal. They charged a 20% gratuity without telling us then they preceeded to allow many of us to give a second gratuity.
Recently ordered from here for an event. Al, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating. The food was amazing and everyone loved everything. Highly recommend.
First off, we are Italian, so we know. That was by far one of the worst meals we ever had. They definitely need a new chef that actually knows how to made a good sauce! They didn’t offer bread, that alone should tell you what kind of restaurant this is. Thats unheard of for an Italian restaurant. All 4 of our main dishes were horrible. The Alfredo sauce was grey, oily and tasted nothing like Alfredo, my pasta wasn’t cooked enough so it was hard, my wife’s gnocchi was overcooked and a mushy mess. The tomato sauce was very acidic, chef boyardee would have been better. And the chicken with the pasta was rock hard, almost inedible. Very disappointing because we came here a few other times and it was decent, maybe open a recipe book or take a few classes? He didn’t charge us for the main dishes, I appreciate that, but seriously you need a cook with experience We were also on the left side of the restaurant that was freezing cold, something needs to be fixed there
First time ,would try it again ,server was personal,which is nice these days my husband didn't like the amount of salt in his dish ,I had a pasta dish ....lots of cheese ......expand your experiences
