Stopped in for lunch today, and I can honestly say I have never seen a firehouse sub franchise that is so poorly cleaned. There wasn’t one surface in the entire storefront that had been cleaned. All of the tables were dirty. I had to push dirt onto the floor to sit down, the walls were caked in dust, the fire tools on the wall had a thick layer of dust. The washrooms were filthy, the area where you get a lid and throw your garbage away. Looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in about three days and the floors were disgusting. Do they not have enough employees there that one person can be in charge of upkeep in the front of their restaurant? Food is not always the most important thing. People need to feel comfortable that they’re eating in a clean environment, and this firehouse sub definitely gets a failing grade. I’m adding to my original review, 10 months later. There is still a big issue with this location and keeping their restaurant clean! Seriously it’s not difficult. Nobody pays any attention to the dining area or washrooms, I have been multiple times since this first review and nothing has changed for the better! It’s time to let head office know. I think it’s possibly the young staff at all times. The focus is on making and selling food. Not basic cleaning skills. They need to hire a cleaner if the staff don’t do it, because it’s becoming gross how dirty the dining room is. On top of that, the drink area always has spilled pop on the counter and no napkins. The only good thing is the food. Cleanliness is an “F” grade as of 10 months later.
Food was incredible and offered a great Gluten-free bun. Jason was incredibly knowledgeable and saved me from ordering something that wouldn't have been gluten free and would have made me sick. Jason was very friendly and personable and during my meal he came by and asked how my food was. 10/10 service from Jason
Delicious subs but pricey. Pay more for quality as usual. However, the staff forgot to include 2 bottles of coke which I returned for and produced my receipt to prove my claim. It would have been nice if someone had at least said 'sorry' .
My favorite sub store in Orangeville. Loaded with ingredients and delicious flavors. Definitely a notch up from subway subs. I will be visiting this store again in the future and recommend Firehouse subs.
Maybe make it known at the beginning of the order online process that you cannot pay at the store. Its a pretty big pissoff when you place a big order and cannot pay at the store and nowhere does it say this until you are ready to place the order.
Yes I get cravings for chips, chocolate and candy but I crave subs above all else. Y’all are making me so fat. I can not get enough. I get the same thing every time and I never get tired of it. Do not sleep on these subs ladies! When Aunt Flo comes to visit take her here!!!
I just got a sub for the first time at fire house sub here in Orangeville and this sub is the best sub I’ve ever tasted. The subs are massive tons of meat and topping for just $15 bucks well worth the money. The place is so clean you can eat off the floor. This is my new place to eat now.
