Catered an event with a group of close friends. The food was ready at the exact time we asked for, everything was hot and fresh and tasted incredible. Can't recommend enough.

Incredible experience all around. You walk in to the most welcoming smells, and are greeted by kind people. But the food. THE FOOD IS AMAZING. We tried the Philly cheese steak, the Reuben, a beef patty, and a shrimp patty and I’ve never had a patty that tasted this good. If you’re thinking of visiting, do it!! Fantastic experience all around.

Mouth-watering Jamaican food and the passion and friendliness of the owner and his team took it over the top for us. We've been talking about them all along our road trip this weekend ?

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS FOOD! Big portions, reasonable pricing, awesome customer service. My husband and I were in town for our anniversary, and we stumbled upon the restaurant. A bit of a wait to get seated on the first night, but we were quickly seated on the patio. Charming spacious patio with lights. We are both Vegetarian, and we really enjoyed: plaintain brushetta, veggie curry, power patties, and the coleslaw. The food was SOOoo good, we decided to return for dinner again two nights in a row!!!! Kudos to the chef/owner and the manager Tyler for a great dining experience.

I ordered rather late for take out (9pm) but I did ask if it was too late to order. It's been a while since we ordered from Soullyve so it was rather disappointing to get 2 rather rubbery old drumsticks and a small portion of rice. Flavour was amazing but I agree with the other comment that the portion size was small for the price paid. I asked for 2 large Jerk Chicken Dinners and all we ate was the rice and coleslaw. Both were very tasty but the chicken was not fresh.

We used Soulyve to cater our wedding of 130 people and they did an amazing job. They were extremely flexible in working with the requirements of our venue's management. They offered us options that weren't on their normal catering menu and everything they made was delicious. My wife and I got so many compliments on the food and they were certainly the best of all the vendors we worked with for our wedding. If you need a caterer, I'd highly recommend Soulyve.

Visited Soulyve last night for the first time. This was during the Blues and Jazz festival, when we arrived at about 6 PM, we had no problem getting a seat out doors and the waitress was good at getting us menus and then taking our orders. By this time, the place was absolutely packed and there was a lineup. Some of us got our food on time but the rest of us had to wait an additional 20 minutes, when I went to find our waitress, she was on cash, serving take out orders, when the food did arrive, it was cold. I don't blame the staff for any of this, I blame a staff shortage. The restaurant itself is very nice, it is in a historical, converted house, with a beautiful deck out front, overlooking Mill Street. It is nicely decorated and we'll laid out. It was very clean, including the bathroom, even though it was so busy. The staff were very friendly and apologetic with the food delay. My only complaints were, the limited menu, being my first time there, I am not sure is this is the regular menu or a special one for the festival, and the main floor bathroom. I asked where the bathroom was and was shown the, single person, unisex, bathroom that had a lineup. After trying a few times to use the facilities, I was directed to the upstairs bathrooms, these were men/ladies and your regular restaurant type. There was no signage to show there were bathrooms up there and I am not totally sure we were supposed to use them; they were in a hallway outside of what looked like a party room.Overall, I enjoyed coming here, most of my complaints were from the shear volume of people in the restaurant and the staff trying to service everyone. Although cold, my jerk chicken was good, my companions had the jerk burger and sweet potato chips, they thoroughly enjoyed them, and the pop in glass bottles were a nice addition. The prices are moderate, about $15.00 for each of the main courses, but they are served in paper boxes with plastic cutlery.I will definitely be back, but when it is less busy.

Great place to dine! The owner and staff are very warm and welcoming. Try the reggae wrap, it is to die for. Real hidden gem for authentic Jamaican/Caribbean food.

I've been a customer for years ... and the food, service and atmosphere never disappoint. The staff is amazing, the food is always on point (delicious)... just a great place to enjoy.

Friendly service. Nice and simple ambience. Fair prices. Great food. Curried chicken roti was the best ever according to my father in law. We all loved our doubles and fried plantain was tasty. My wife loved her reggae wrap with jerk chicken. Cornmeal breaded catfish was quite salty, but everything else was exceptional.

Hey Brad, I'm really disappointed to here this kind of feedback. Obviously not the type of food we pride ourselves on. I'd love to speak with you personally to get some more information and try to make this right. Please call me any time at 519.307.5983. Thank you for letting us know. Tyler Conium - General Manager
