Been coming to the Bluebird for many years and never disappoints. Stopped in for lunch had the Fettuccine special with Butternut squash carrot and havarti soup both really good. Dessert they had the milk chocolate creme Brule. Good service as well friendly and prices are always reasonable.

Loved this place - the food was amazing, staff very friendly. Came across it quite by accident and very pleased we did. Will definately go back when in Orangeville. Small intimate place with really good menu. We had the stone fired pizza and it was wonderful - enjoy!
I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend and his family and we had a terrible experience. We both ordered a pasta dish, he had sea food and shared his shrimp with me. After he put some on my plate we notice a huge mat of thick, straight brown hair. We politely called the waitress over to tell her, and all she said to us was that everyone in the kitchen had hair nets on and no one back there had hair matching the clump of hair on my food. It clearly wasnt my hair because mine is blonde and very curly. She implied that we had left the hair there on purpose. She offered to remake the food after the others at the table had already finished eating, so obviously we werent going to wait another 45 minutes for food and to eat, so we took it to go. There was no other form of compensation at all. It was such a shame because the food was very good.
It's been probably about 20 years since my wife and I have been here and I must say that I wish that we hadn't waited so long . Despite not having a reservation on a Saturday night , they managed to sit us at the bar side which we didn't mind due to being late . Service was prompt and friendly. We had one of the chefs special along with a salad each . They came fairly quickly ( as they were packed)the meals were hot and served with great presentation . Their taste was absolutely amazing! We were both impressed and upset with ourselves for not making an appearance sooner . Bluebird is still under the same ownership as it was over 20 years ago. Got to eat here ! Make a reservation though , this place is very popular, don't wait ! JC.
